I love being a Zone Leader.  Its stressful but I feel like I can accomplish so much more and help other missionaries to reach their pottencial.  I have learned so much in this last week.  My companion has been a great motivation and has changed the way we do contacts.  In just about every contact, we invite the people to be baptized... and it works.  It surprising how many people accept.  But then I have to attend church.  Thats the hard part.  This last week we found 20 new investigators.
BUt when I arrived her at Linde (Name looks like Lindon... interesting) I found a lot of problems.  THe chapel is being made larger, there is no Bishop, and a lot of the leaders in the church have become inactive.  But Elder Chico and I have got to work and we are already fixing things.
ALSO we had one of those rare, once in a mission time, stories.  As we were looking for the Elders Quorum Preident, we knocked what was to be his house.   It wasnt.  There was a small kid that, as usual, said his parents werent home when they actually were.  His father then comes to the door, sees us in the rain without coats or umbrellas, and says "come in".   As we sit down he asks us "So what are you going to teach me?"  Not a normal contact response.  As we talked with him, he tells us that he was reading the bible, trying to find ways to help his family be more united and happy, and then someone knocked his door.  Thats where he found us.  During the lesson he kept on saying "I am just so surprised that you are hear.  I cant believe it.  You are an answer to my prayer".  He then invited his wife to the lesson and she affirmed the story.  At the end of the lesson, we invited them to be baptized and accepted.

ANd I have been thinking about asking for an extension.  That means I might be coming home in July.  WE'll see what my president says.
